  1. Steve quietly hoping that what the Leafs need to win is to be a worse team going into the playoffs. I feel bad.

  2. I want the JETS to win the Stanley Cup. But i don’t think any Canadian team will even make the Cup Final.

  3. Short and simple suggestion. Replace the Leafs with the Canucks please. Because the Leafs have proven time and time again, that they do not have the mettle to progress any further than the 2nd Round. In case you aren't aware @SDPN, Canucks happen to be the leading team from CANADA in the regular season.

  4. Like I've said, since the year jets lost buff myers and trouba. They only go as far as hellebuyck wants them, too. They looked much better against edminton and vegas the breakouts were clean and much more dangerous chances. This gets offense and overall team play has been horrendous when vilardi is out of the lineup. If vilardi is good and hellebuyck can keep the team calm and collected they can do something if not, I think dallas destroys the jets and colorado it's basically makar/macdawg/the finish behemoth goal scorer vs the mr calm doesn't care what game or situation vezinabuyck.

  5. To improve the Leafs just need to win 2 second round playoff games. I hope they do – just so this Leafs Core 4 can do something in the playoffs.😀 One Podcaster was claiming Leafs Fans will be disappointed- should the Leafs not make the Eastern Conference Final. I found that to be funny.😀 For this Leafs Core 4 ever to go on a playoff run – just doesn’t seen possible. Don’t they like spring golf too much?

  6. If NY wins the presidents trophy, the leafs won't be playing them…they'll be playing Boston/Florida still.

  7. Rangers have only 1 Canadian player. Most successful playoff teams are mostly Canadian players so I’d take my chances with NYR

  8. This has nothing to do with how far they will go just if they will get out of the 1st rd. and you didn’t even mention the Canucks.

  9. I think they're off base thinking the Leafs will play NY. Even if the Leafs drop to WC#1, They're likely to still play Florida or Boston. Rangers are 3 points up with a pretty light schedule down the stretch.

  10. Subject title was “How deep will each Canadian team go?” Mentions Canucks only when talking about Jets possible matchups. Details boys…you gotta pay attention to the details.

  11. Thats it Dangle, use reverse psychology to win. Leafs cant contend, just watch. I said Edmonton wouldn't make the playoffs after their dismal start to the season, look at them now. Remember the year the Habs won their first 10 in a row and then missed the playoffs? You never really know with hockey. How many hockey days have you had where you were totally on your prep, felt great, felt confident and the puck was like trying to catch a mouse. Then there is the day where you don't feel confident and decide to just play safe and limit your mistakes and create from the roots of the game and everything goes right for you, everything you touch turns to gold. Hockey is like that, pray to the hockey gods, be s good teammate and just try to contribute. If the hockey gods give you the nod and you have a bit of luck then your skill set is freed up to shine. Crazy game.

  12. I have leafs second round exit. Now why is that, their goals for to goals against is just not a sustainable enough ratio to say they can consistently beat the top teams in the division or league, unfortunately the leafs ability to keep the puck out of their net is once again their greatest weakness. The offence isn’t so dominant that it can offset their inability to keep the puck out of their net. Now they certainly can get some timely goals or saves and win a playoff series but to say they do that for all 4 rounds and win the cup, just doesn’t seem possible. The X factor is this leafs team is more tough and physical than every other leafs playoff team since 2016. They really have been a team that can play a different style with some intensity and grit that might catch the more skilled teams off guard and they’ve been doing it all season this is not a load up on guys to pretend we’re tough for the playoffs situation the leafs have been going to war all season

  13. As of now the oilers have home ice advantage against the golden knights in the first round. 👀
