I could see a trade involving a 50% salary retention to take KK back on top of Necas. Habs would give up Owen Beck, Joel Armia, Justin Barron, Jonathan Kovacevic, the 1st from Winnipeg this year, and a 2nd round pick next year. Gives them a bottom 6 NHL defensive pairing, a current NHL forward, a high-end center prospect, and picks. Or we take full salary on KK and they take Gallagher. Marty may be able to fix the kid. Deal has potential upside for both teams while trading garbage contracts.

Forget trading Dach, he’s not going anywhere, period! Just be patient and don’t panic, we have Owen Beck coming soon, Joshua Roy is just starting to get comforteble in the NHL so, stop these stupid rumours for talent that doesn’t come to the heel of the talents we have already. What we need is some calm veterans like Monahan or-and Claude Giroux to show the way to the kids already here.

And Dach is almost 5 years younger with a much higher ceiling while Suter is topping out at 36 points in his prime lol 😂!! Cmon this is ridiculous! Pass for me!!
We must have good players, everybody seems to be getting traded for everyone else's leftovers. Sure I will trade a NHL goalie for a AHL goalie and a 4th liner for a 2nd liner. I'll also throw in 2 first rounders.
