This head contact by Nicolas Hague on Vladislav Namestnikov was “unavoidable” in the sense that I think he was going to hit the head no matter what, but “avoidable” in the sense that he made head contact more forceful and direct than it needed to be.

He’s a defenseman body contact and stick puck contact are almost exactly the same time. He needs to play the body in case the puck is chipped past him. Also with your suspension system each team would be require a 90 man roster. It’s a contact sport people get hit get over it
