the Vancouver Canucks beat the Anaheim Ducks by a score of 3-2, Dakota Joshua with 2 goals and Brock Boeser scored as well, Conor Garland with a nice assist. The canucks didn’t play all too well, but they still got a much needed 2 points over the Edmonton Oilers in the standings.

You don’t know how the Oilers are close to us in the standings? The Oilers are 42-14-3 since the coaching change. McDavid has more assists than any Canucks player has points, and they have 9 players who have scored more than 5 goals since the All-Star Break. Not only that, but their defensive game has improved significantly thanks to the legendary Paul Coffey. Stuart Skinner’s advanced stats are nothing insane, so they’re not reliant on unreal goaltending to carry them. Their PP is literally the second best in the league and their G/GP is 4th in the entire league.

I'm holding out hope that once we get to the Playoffs the Canucks will turn up the heat, esp if Demko is back. Petey needs to pick it up. Glad Brock scored. I think we need to bench Soucy because two penalties in two games like that really isn't good. But what do I know. Excited that we're finally in the playoffs. Go Nucks Go, let's crush round 1 🙂
What if Canucks is just playing the minds games were they’re not trying for these 10 games and when play off comes that’s when they play 100%
I think once demko comes back the canuks are going to feel fired up and ready and thats when I feel they are going to become a wagon once again

Canucks are just not the same without Dakota Joshua
Joshua isnt a surprise anymore, he was at the beginning of the season, and we've missed him while he was gone during his injury thats for sure.
i dont find this suprising at all joshua is very consistent and has bursts like this at times
I knew the lifeline had to be back in one piece from the moment Dakota Joshua was injured.
It's been all season for this big guy that skates and pressures, points are a nice bonus.

4. Illya M. needs to improve big time for 4.5 million
Third line has to pick up the slack of the first. Petey has been invisible the last couple weeks
Silovs looks ready to be backup next season. I didn’t like how we played in the 3rd mostly, but a win is a win. Once Demko and Lindholm returns this team will be fine.
