[Emrith] Kaiden Guhle said he didn’t have much of an argument in his hearing with the #NHL Department of Player Safety; he made sure to say there was no intent to injury on his part and he only wanted to get the Flyers player to leave Juraj Slafkovský alone.

Stupid move, but good on him for taking it on the chin. Next time, maybe leave it to The Sheriff to deal with if you’re going to get a stupid penalty though. Wifi would deal with it on the ice maybe getting a minor penalty, or at most a 5 for fighting.

I don’t like what happened but this core is tight.

If he had done it to antagonize the rat or for his personal reasons, that’s a completely boneheaded move. The fact he was doing it to help out Slaf makes this alright in my books as long as he doesn’t make a habit of doing similar dumb things.

It seems like an honest and accurate explanation which I appreciate.
