Florida Panthers coach Paul Maurice speaks after morning skate in Toronto; Florida visits the Maple Leafs on Monday, April 1, 2024.
This is the first game of Florida’s final road trip of the regular season.
The Panthers will play the Leafs on Monday before visiting Montreal, Ottawa and Boston.
Florida will play Toronto twice before the end of the regular season — and the two are currently lined up to play in the first-round of the playoffs.
The Panthers are coming off a 3-2 shootout win over the visiting Detroit Red Wings on Saturday.
Florida had lost six of seven (1-5-1) coming in and had not won a home game since March 9.
Despite 37 saves from Alex Lyon, Florida got a pair of third-period goals from Sasha Barkov. Sam Reinhart got the only goal in the shootout.
Dylan Larkin and Robby Fabbri scored for the Wings.
Sergei Bobrovsky made 21 saves in his third win of the season against the Wings.
Bobrovsky will start against the Leafs.
