  1. Why does the medical bike ride away to leave PG to ride 60km with possible damage to knee ligaments and possible bone fragments in the joint to wreck it further. The pictures of knee joint swelling on PG's Twitter seem to suggest severe trauma. It could have been worse however. A pity the French farmers did not throw hay bales on the bridge wall.

  2. Gets back on the bike and keeps going. So refreshing to see after the football world cup where people would collapse from a mere touch. Imagine if this was Neymar. He'd still be rolling.

  3. Best thing to do there. Go with the momentum. He could have broken his neck if it wasn't for the rotation.

  4. He crossed to the left of the road and then tried to take a tight line which you can't do unless you go hard on the brakes then go left

  5. I don't think I fracture a kneecap, but I had an indentical crash to this one today. Going down mountain roads to a town a the bottom of the river basin. Road conditions were humid, tropical rain early morning made a tight curve with high speed an epic nightmare.
I want to believe that he was most scare when he was falling down the side of the mountain. The inminent crash was foreseen, the flip and descent into the wilderness is terrifying.
