Ok I kind of get the Ryan nuget goal waived off but that was goaltender interference on my boy skinner…Shame but oh well we get the next one let’s still bring the cup home boys!!
You can see when McDavid doesn't have a 5 point night the Oilers are a very average team and their goaltending is weak sauce to say the least. They'll never get by Dallas, Colorado, Winnipeg or Vancouver in a playoff series.

I used to think Leafs fans cried a lot but when I read Oiler fans comments I'm starting to think they cry more than any other fan base in the league. I guess they see that having Mcdavid on the team they're entitled to being gifted the Stanley Cup. I don't see Edmonton getting past the second round let alone getting to a cup final with their lineup.
Oilers goal that was disallowed, was a goal, the Oilers played well in that game and if it was not for that poor decision then we would have won.

How often does that happen? A successful challenge taking a goal off the board at one end resulting in a goal at the other end that counts following a failed challenge by the other team. And the longer a review takes, the more likely it is going to be overturned. Once the RNH goal was taken off, I knew this was going to be St Louis' game.

Only Ekholm had a good game, Draisaitl scored 1 goal but too many bad passes and too many penalties and lost most of the faceoffs, Hyman was "ok", McDavid (-1) was just average and made 1 good pass, Bouchard played poorly on the blue line. Kane's 5+2 penalty broke the Oilers' game. Most of the Oiler team are mediocre players who score on big holidays. 😝 McLeod just another mediocre player to blame for OT loss🤪
