Use this break to regroup. Seriously. Fedotov needs to be the starter and Ersson needs a break. Also, Torts needs to play Gurianov and Brink over Deslauries and Atkinson. We need speed and offense, and those two need to not see the ice again this season.
Also, I hate to say it, but it seems to me that Farabees time here is coming to an end based off of Torts’ comments last night about people not being built for this. He looks miserable out there in every way. He loses puck battles, gets taken off the puck along the boards consistently, and just rarely scores points in general. I wish it was different but he’s so lost out there.

There’s a lot to be positive about. Drysdale’s back. Yeti looked good in net. Sanheim went coast to coast. The end of the third was exciting as hell.

Torts with a truthful postgame interview. I like what he was saying about how they need to play these games so they can see who can handle and play at this level. Think this year has been a great test of who will be part of the new era of orange and black.

It would be absolutely devastating to miss the playoffs. Washington is 1 point behind us, and has 3 more games than we do left to play. Islanders are 4 points behind us with 2 more games left to play. Our draft position has been sliding back all season, and this was supposed to be a tank season for a high draft pick. And to have our position fall back and not even make the postseason would be painful
