This team stinks,
Seriously though: disgusting play. The only worse game we’ve played this year was against Minnesota where we let in like seven pp goals.
Yeah if Maurice has to yell at them every intermission, this is not good. This is not what Maurice wants out of them like energy management wise or else he wouldn't be mad at them. I REALLY hope they are able to put up whole games like how they played in the third come playoff time.
I’m not ready to give up considering going into this game we were the best defensive team in the nhl but yes we should be slightly concerned atleast but today was a fluke for how many goals we let in
This game doesn't matter they are on cruise control still. All of the people that didn't want the presidents cup are getting exactly what hey asked for. They're not going to bust their butts or bodies til the playoffs start. This games 3rd period was just to shut the chirping leafs up, the prior 2 periods were them at 30% and the 3rd period was them at 70%. They've been on coast mode since before the trade deadline. The panthers are fine,Go Cats.

We have found our playoff goalie in Stolarz. Anyway in my opinion just ride the hot hand in The Great Wall of Stolarz. Also someone tell Paul or Tkachuck’s Dad to rip them a new one because they need it soooo bad.
Kulikov was atrocious. Lundell cant score. Will never have a scoring touch… stolarz > Bob (right now)
Freakin embarrassment. This team is infuriating to watch right now. Turnover after turnover. They really play like they don’t give a crap. Bob should kick the crap out of all the defensemen. 3 goals were on Kulikov's dumb a**. Rodrigues was a terrible signing.
At the beginning of this video that was one of the dumbest statements I think I've ever heard you say for them to play 20 minutes of balls to the wall hockey, especially you'd like to see it in the third period. Your statement looks pretty dumb now, doesn't it?You got your wish and we took a loss because of it. That has been the problem for the last 10 games. From now on, it's balls to the wall for 60. Otherwise we're going home real early. I'm tired of this lazy sloppy no heart 💩 hockey!!!

The trade deadline acquisitions have ruined this team once again. Zito should have done nothing. Time to face the fact that this franchise is cursed and will never win a Stanley cup
From a Leafs fan. We always worry about the third because Leafs tend to blow leads.
Play the full 60, Cousins needs to go back with Bennett and Tkachuk, Stolarz needs to be treated more as a 1B option. My concern is Bob being relied on a bit too much as of late and its starting to show.

They beat us with 4 of there starters not playing due to injury. There line up next game will be totally different! Marner wasn't even on the ice😮

I wish the Leafs are a little grittier in the playoffs, like the Panthers.

We managed to almost cameback down 5-1 and played a fantastic 3rd period. Now if only we played a 2nd period and actually helped our goalie for once in 2 weeks we probably would've won in regulation. Not a coincidence that we pull bob and put Stolarz in that the team goes all out. If its leafs panthers in round 1, sorry but idk how leafs don't win in 5.
Their defense is gone. Where is it? They have to find it, because if they don’t they will be dead in the first round.
Leaf fan here. No, we are confident but it is nice to know the Panthers are beatable. For a few months there it looked like there was no hope. Ultimately nothing matters until the playoffs so hope is nice but buys you nothing. See how the next game goes.
There’s a point where changing lines should course correct itself. Adding talent should not be a detriment. Poor coaching is a more likely scenario and this defense needs to get its head out of its ass unless they want a first round departure.
