There is no Avs goalie controversy. Georgiev will go full-time in net this postseason. Annunen will be ready if needed. But they’re now both looking to rebound from rough starts. It’s too small of a sample size (right now) to label goaltending a concern for this team. But it’s something to monitor.”

“The Colorado Avalanche lost to the Blue Jackets, 4-1, Monday night in Columbus, Ohio. Here are three takeaways from the road defeat:
# Annunen starts
Justus Annunen — [two nights after recording 22-of-22 saves in relief of Alexandar Georgiev](https://denvergazette.com/sports/colorado-avalanche/colorado-avalanche-clinch-playoff-berth-with-home-win-over-nashville-predators/article_fab788ba-eeda-11ee-8229-2b0a5144c20a.html) — made a scheduled road start in Columbus. Annunen held strong in a 0-0 game until things fell apart midway into the second period. He allowed three goals in about nine minutes of play.
