Petry gets his props for saving that game (maybe the season), but he owed us big time for playing like crap the last two weeks. He doesn't need to be a superstar, just quietly get the job done.
Whoa, let's calm down. Edvinsson is not playing on the level of Seider. And he absolutely gave the puck away a few times last night. He's playing well, but people are starting to give him a pass on a lot of small mistakes that he should clean up.

It was a big win but even at home I think Rangers will be a really tough game and wings at times this season play worse against lesser teams and they'll get some of those after the rangers. I think they'll make it bc Philly is running out of gas. They play hard every night and don't have the talent of the wings roster.
They better get their puck handling skills down better than they have been playing. TB schooled them big time in the 3rd period last night.
Its good to be excited but I wouldn't put money on them. Probably about a 20 percent chance. Wings have to win 5 of the next eight and hope Washington and philly can only get four. Caps have games in hand.

Tuomisto, Wallinder and Johansson should be playing for a spot next year. ASP is down the road probably. Holl and Petry look like they're gone but one man doesn't win or lose a season for a hockey team (well maybe the coach) unless your name is Gretzky. Playoffs next year, cup contenders 2 years later.
