Jim Montgomery on Bruins Win vs Predators, Jim Montgomery on Justin Brazeau injury Postgame

L us all Mark U some 10 Bell saves tonight spectacular you know I thought their goalie was really good too but our goalie was like an onslaught he had to be down on his Crouch he had to be finding pucks through a lot of traffic

And a lot of uh great plays that they were able to make at times and he made some saves look easy and maybe one of the better Saves by Brandon c yeah yeah I mean you know he doesn’t get enough credit for how important he is to our

Team Brando um his leadership qualities how much he loves being a breu and just how much how hard he plays defensively what was clicking on the the penalty kill tonight didn’t seem like they had many looks at all yeah I I thought one um we won a decent amount of faceoffs

And then uh I thought our four checkup ice I don’t think we gave him easy entries and that that leads to the short end and goal Len’s play off off that play getting it off the glass his stick handling he one of the penalty kills he

Had two plays himself um you say that’s yeah that that’s a combination of his ability to play the puck but also his hockey sense you know in the second period he bumped that one right up out of the zone you know and he just recognizes time and space really well

Just like a good forward or defenseman would uh justtin braz any he update there upper body uh we’ll have more in coming days about length and stuff but we don’t really have much besides that right now

NASHVILLE — Following the Boston Bruins 3-0 victory over the Nashville Predators, Coach Montgomery lauded Linus Ullmark’s performance in goal, stating, “Spectacular. I thought their goalie was really good too. But our goalie was like an onslaught, he had to be down in his crouch, he had to be finding pucks through a lot of traffic…he made some saves look easy.”

  1. Linus! Told ya so!
Gotta give him space to work – don't play so tight in on him. That's what causes deflections when he's already got the puck tracked.

Defenseman in so tight is like putting pinball bumpers right in front of his crease!

Got to do that with Jeremy because he doesn't control rebounds.

    Give Linus his space!

    Quick recovery to Justin Brazeau!

    🐻🏆

  2. Just a fantastic overall game. Bruins seem to be finding themselves. Ullmark to me should get game 1.
