what did I say last night on your video then …. they ain’t gonna quit . I was so ready to eat my own words after the 2nd period (was at work … been busy at work most games this season actually – never missed one game) so I walked away & tried to get other things done … but then when the 3rd started I said to myself – “you made a commitment to watch the first 74 games – you can’t stop now” so I brought my focus back to the game – & the pucks just started going in … & you sensed for the first time in a long time that this team is capable of getting their shit together – it’s not just Sidney P. Crosby anymore … how about that ear to ear smile on Geno’s face (I think after his 2nd goal) ?? Or the reaction from Rakell (I honestly think he played with that same illness Jarry & Ludz has) when he scored ?? you gotta know how euphoric the whole team felt after this COMEBACK win – let’s keep it going PENS !
I am glad the Pens are winning, but I have two questions. #1. If they make the playoffs and get bounced in the first round like they have in the past five years, what is the net benefit? #2. With the late surge and new-found passion to "win," does this change or modify the off-season changes that Dubas needs to make? I am afraid we are being lured-in by a false hope. But good grief….they have this roller-coaster season performance mostly downhill, but I am nauseated by the ride.
