Milan Lucic Hit on Auston Watson and Fight w/ Cody McLeod (1/20/17) – Beer League Heroes

The Nashville Predators poked the bear Friday night and woke him up! Milan Lucic played his best game as an Edmonton Oiler since joining the team in the summer by bulldozing the Predator’s Auston Watson, then goating him into a penalty, AND THEN scoring on the subsequent PP to tie the game and take it to OT. He also made short work of Cody McLead and Yanick Weber.

  1. Two points. Number one, why would Lucic go with McLeod(who is definitely smaller than he is) and not Watson(who is almost Milan's size). And two, hope Edmonton fans are still loving this, cause you got another 5+ seasons to go with him eating up a nice chunk of the salary cap

  2. Looch is a beast but he wasn't always consistent with his physical play would love him back in Boston, but he's busy babysitting in Edmonton

  3. I’m an Oilers fan. God I wish the Lucic story ended better than it did. That guy could be a difference maker.
