Living room where the Edmonton Oilers have just celebrated an 8-3 victory over the Buffalo Sabers this guy right here on the TV coming through absolutely massive for the Oilers tonight Matias atol two goals Zack Heyman two goals as well Connor Brown in the dying seconds gets his second of the season so great

To see for Connor Brown it was the eighth and final goal of the night of course and yeah guys this one did not start out pretty whatsoever the Sabres were up two nothing and 3 to2 in this hockey game but the Oilers tied up in the final minute of the second period I

Believe it was 33 Zack kimman a huge clutch goal and then an explosive five goals in the third period just completely turned this game into a Slaughter for the Edmonton Oilers and like I said Peter mentioning there Conor Brown I think there was another Connor Brown comment as well yeah great to see

Him get his second one of five in the third for the Oilers as they take this one 8 to3 it’s been a while since the Oilers have played the Buffalo Sabers overly well so this was definitely one of of their better performances from I’d say maybe about

The halfway point of the second period on they came out better in the second period overall well I’ll give I’ll give them a 40-minute effort tonight I think uh no one would uh say that the oers played well in the first they were fortunate to only be down two to one so

Yeah it was a great 40 minute effort from the oers tonight it would have been nice to get the full 60 Minutes that doesn’t really seems to happen for this team too often uh they managed to squeak out a win against the Montreal Canadians the other night and well we’ve seen it

So many times this year right where they just barely managed to get a 30 minute a 40 minute effort then tonight 40 minutes gets them an 8 to3 win so not too much to be disappointed about in that but yeah like you said Peter terrible start

There so the Oilers as we get closer to the playoffs here have to find a way to get to that at least 50 60 Minute effort because these kind of efforts they’re going to get you wins over teams like the Buffalo Sabres who are on the outside looking in

But come playoff time the Oilers are going to be in too big of a hole they got to somehow Dig Down find a way to be better from start to finish I mean no team can ever play a perfect 60 Minutes all the time but the Oilers definitely

Have to find a way to be more consistent this year uh Conor McDavid I missed your comment there Peter but but you’re maybe mentioning his points Conor McDavid four assists on the night so huge night for him as well Leon dry Sidle some clutch go well a clutch goal Darnell nurse also

Scoring for the Oilers tonight so a real big team effort steuart Skinner I felt after a bit of a rough start there really came on made some big saves when the Oilers needed there so overall for 40 minutes it was a strong team effort but Epiphany there mentioning in the

Comments as well yes the start has to be there for the Oilers like I mentioned again especially come playoff time these kind of 40 50 minute efforts at most maybe are not going to get the job done they might be able to squeak out a win here and there

But the playoff run will not be long if the Oilers can’t find a way to get to that 60 minutes but it was a hell of a great 20 minutes tonight for sure a five goal third period for the Oilers if you missed it again con Brown getting his

Second of the Season didn’t get really the standing ovation tonight but hey I was there for that first one and it was a real special moment to see and I think someone mentioned yeah it was really nice goal by Connor Brown tonight the eighth and final goal I think it was

With about eight or nine seconds to go so great to see Connor Brown getting his second and Zack Heyman hitting goal number 48 on the year so he’s just two away from 50 now closing in there so hopefully Zack hman can hit number number 50 here in the near future and uh

The oers Oilers guy mentioning let’s go Conor Brown absolutely Conor Brown’s a guy I would not be surprised at all to see him come back next year and get like 15 to 20 goals I would not be shocked at all like we’ve all seen the struggle this year

But he could so easily just come back with how many goal posts and stuff he’s hit this year and beautiful like two-on-one chances that he’s missed I mean he could easily hit 15 to 20 next year I would not be shocked at all maybe it’s more like 10 to 15

But that’s why I almost wouldn’t mind seeing Conor Brown come back next year because the oers are going to be paying him a larger sum of money anyway so I think he’s already going to make be making 3.25 so sign him for somewhere near the league minimum again league

Minimum again and then he’s a $4 million guy and yeah cuz I mean I think next year is going to be an even bigger bounceback year for him so you might as well reap the benefits of that so we’ll see what happens there but great to see Conor

Brown get his second uh Peter mentioning there as well like Matias EOL two goals on the night great to see for the Viking and like I said Zack Heyman goals number 47 and 48 so he’s closing in on 50 so I think I’ll wrap it up there for tonight
