Any team can have bad nights. Yeah, the Oilers defence did not help anything last night. However, what bothers me is that this team has ZERO pushback, unless it is done by McDavid and Draisaitl.
Literally, from November 28, 2017 to whenever that article was posted (IIRC, it was in 2021), the Oilers had a 0-26-2 record when McDavid & Draisaitl had been held pointless.

Everybody is focused on Edmonton, but what about Dallas? They have got to be the most overlooked team in the league. I never see anybody talk about them despite them being pretty consistently good. They are my darkhorse to win the cup this year.

One off night on defense and everyone is acting like it’s the end of the world (for oilers fans). They’ve been way better defensively this year and tonight there was definitely lapses, every team has off nights defensively. Just gotta learn from it and move on lol.
