  1. Bortuzzo gone…one more of our 2019 Stanley Cup winners gone. 😢

Doug Armstrong has had a MISERABLE last 3 years as GM. What the hell has he been thinking?

Our defense is small, can’t clear the net, won’t stick up for Binnington when he gets steamrolled by opposing forwards. Our forwards can’t play 2-way hockey, can’t win battles on the boards, pass too much and don’t shoot enough….jeez!

  2. They showed no good views of Boone puck to face. I was hoping cheek area and bad bruise and he threw his helmet on way down runway in frustration but was hoping 1 week or less. Dang. The leader. It was a deflection not direct friendly fire

  3. Last season EDM was below the line rather late into the season, and guess what, they got the job done. I don't think they were sandbagging this year or last, but they can flip the switch as needed. No worries.

  4. Losing Jenner really stings for the Jackets. The silver lining in this is, with how complete Voronkov's been playing and Fantilli lighting it up, there's a chance they'll be able to get through the storm

  5. Islander situation is a real learning opportunity for young GM's in the league…Win now doesn't work! No better example than the other team in southern NY and the Islanders. If you don't restock the cupboard…eventually you run dry. The best thing for the franchise now is a rebuild….bite the bullet and tell everyone you won't be competitive for a while but you will be back. Unfortunately for the Islanders the wrong man for that plan currently holds the job.

  6. The hits just keep on coming for Columbus. What next…Gaudreau flees the country to sign w/ Traktor Chelyabinsk?

  7. Good for the Oilers, but in the only two games Picard has played, he was lit up a bit in one game and was in for a pulled Skinner. So Skinner has been between the pipes for all of their recent wins. Not really sustainable… It's a matter of time before Skinner wears out. And if putting in Picard to rest Skinner is the play, it's likely a loss unless they're playing a cold team.

  8. Edmonton just has to beat New Jersey on the back end of a back to back, and then Chicago and they're right back in it.

After starting 2-9-1 they pushed all the way to 11-12-1.

  9. It feels like Garland is drawing 1/2 the penalties that are giving Vancouver PP's… He's been fantastic, in my opinion, and hope he isn't moved; he's worth his salary (especially compared to so many other players in his wage range!) I don't need him to score G's, though it's nice when he does. He's one of the teams best forecheckers, and chances are created. KEEP HIM!
