Kid definitely took the next step this year, he certainly brings it every night.
Last summer JJ took a huge step in the world championships and it really carried over this season, I’m glad he’s getting a legitimate look on the first line.
His progress this year makes moving on from prospects much less risky
No offense to Skinner but they have to get out of that contract to keep Peterka, UPL, Quinn, Byram, and Tuch. Somethings gotta give with the Dahlin, Power, Thompson, Cozens contracts taking up plenty of cap already.
JJ had a mini-slump mid-season but has been clicking on the top line. Makes a Skinner buyout more likely. Can’t wait to see Kulich up here competing with JJ for top scorer.
I was beginning to wonder if we should try and trade for a top line LW this off season. It appears that we have one in house. He’s been lights out most of the season. I’m curious to know what his ceiling is going to be.
