Well, it’s been a regular season boys!
Wolf was pretty damn solid. Can’t help but be excited with him between the pipes.
I fell into a burning ring of fire
I went down, down, down
And the Flames went lower
Welp, without the penalties it was a decent effort.
Wolf looked good.
Can’t be mad with a loss anyway.
10 of the last 13 are L’s! This has to be one of the greatest comebacks in sports for the lottery pick.
is it me or are we not even playing that bad?
we just have some defensive lapses but aren’t getting dominated I think. We are in most games
The Calgary Flames are proud to select from the Kelowna Rockets: Tij Iginla
Both the Canadiens and the Senators lost as well so no ground made today. But the loss keeps the slim chance of dropping to 6th alive
Even more annoying is Ottawa and Montreal also lost , need those teams to pass us
Flames clutching down the stretch for those lotto odds while keeping a good effort. Love it!
I’m never going to be happy with the Flames losing. I don’t care enough about 1 or 2 draft positions to really want them to lose. I think the big things to make the team better in the long run were acquiring draft capital, and loading up on players with upside, which is basically to maximize total organizational value. You can trade this value to move up if you want, negating the need to lose.
With that said, I also know it doesn’t matter and I am mostly looking for individual success. For example, if we’re going to flip Kuzmenko, every point he gets matters because it shows he can be an impactful forward; from now until he is traded, the more points he gets the better the return.
Not likely, but it would be great to have Popsicle against the !oilers on Saturday.
Wasn’t watching the game, can someone tell me what happened with Posp? I saw the elbow penalty but I’ve seen some saying he’s gonna get a long suspension, some saying it was a fine hit. Thoughts?
