Makar has been almost invisible other than PP1. Yeah and with the two top-5 scorers on the same unit. You know Hughes is doing something special when even the east coast refrain is generally in his favor. I don’t think it’s going to be a close vote.

It reminds me of the year Doughty won the Norris. Erik Karlsson had the first point per game season by a defenseman in like 30 years while also having his best defensive season of his career. Yet Doughty won because the media narrative all year was that he should win.
