DH Gate vs Adidas SS Comparison

Piggybacking on the other posts here about DH Gate.
I am a STM that missed out on the online sale and then the in person sale after being only 1 1/2 sections from the front of the line (I hopped out of line after they told us only Fantastics were left). I out of frustration ordered a DH Gate, thinking I would never get an adidas and didn’t want to pay for Fanatics. I eventually was able to grab a jersey with the last STM online offer that happened last month. I received my DH Gate Jersey today.

Biggest difference imo is the logo. 21” diagonal across vs 15 1/2”, my 9 year old
daughter’s Fanatics L/XL is 14”

Sleeve numbers are 6” Adidas vs 4” DH

Back numbers are 13” vs 11 3/4”

Sleeve Lines are 3” vs 2”

The name plate is the same size, but sloppy

NHL logo stitching is missed on DH and the black shield area is larger on DH gate

Adidas logos look pretty close

The DH has an additional seem on the bottom above the black stripe and is missing a seem on the arms by the numbers.

My Adidas has a couple of pulls in it after wearing it one time. I have no idea how the DH Gate will hold up over time. But the quality of the material seems similar and better than my fantastic home Jersey.

I don’t hate the DH Gate as it cost $38 all in and the Adidas was $223 which includes my 20% discount. Jack wasn’t my first choice of Jersey but with SS adidas beggers can’t be choosers, and I feel lucky to have it. Ultimately, I am happy to have both, and if I had neither I would buy a $38 DH Gate over a $600 EBay SS.

Great write up. Pretty much the same story with my DHG jersey. I’m fine with it for the price I paid.

Can you name the seller by chance? Thanks!

See I can tell their different but the price difference just doesn’t justify the quality increase.

It’s like buying a 10 dollar toaster or a 75 dollar toaster. Yeah maybe the 75 dollar one has some cool tricks or the toast is a little more perfect but they both make toast. Sometimes you just can’t justify spending the extra money for the slight improvement
