  1. The level of empathy and understanding displayed here is a reminder of the importance of compassion and solidarity in building a better world for all.🧡

  2. For the love of sweet baby bearded Jesus. Can someone tell Chiarot he is not Datsyuk and just clear the puck instead of taking 5 seconds on a pk to skate into the corner and get stripped of the puck and lose the game. I learned this in peewee ffs. đŸ€ŠđŸ»

  3. I ain’t giving up till it’s actually over, this is gonna go all the way to the last game.We are very lucky that we’re getting help around the league

  4. hilarious that people are still thinking playoffs…all they do is lose hockey games. they find excuse after excuse after excuse, but the team is terrible. they have lost 13 of the last 17 games haha….yet these players still think playoffs. Yzerman has so much work to do in the offseason, this team SUCKS

  5. They played the best team in the league, they just didn't have enough. I hate to show no love but playing sprong at this point is not helpful, if he doesn't score, he really is a liability, for those doubting lalonde not playing him, this is why. Too bad for him, but he just doesn't bring enough aside from his shot for this team.

  6. Wings were 10 points ahead of the teams that are now beating them for the last wildcard. They asked for it. Plus, the Wings' defense disappeared again. The chances the Rangers had to run away with the game because of a poor Wings defense, again and again, is a testament that this team could have slid right into at least the second wildcard spot, but they they played like minor leaguers, sort of like Philly is doing right now. This generation of players in the NHL compared to the 1990s/2000s can't compare to the grit of what once was. Teams that were playoff bound just 3-4 weeks ago, i.e. Detroit, Philly, are getting their arses handed to them, now that they've allowed the dropoffs (Caps, Isles, and Pens) back in it. If I were Stevie Y, the first thing I'd do is not re-sign at least several of those rentals for anything close to the salaries he's given them. I still think he gave Rasmussen at least $1.5 mil too much. That guy will be making over $4 mil/yr in the new contract. Copp, Compher, Petry, Perron, Veleno and maybe Chiarot should all be gone after their contracts expire. Wings should keep some of the other forwards/centers and rebuild their defense. They can't expect a goalie to save 30-40 shots every night. If they get rid of those rentals, they may not make the playoffs next year of they rebuild their defense, but they've got to get rid of some of these guys who can't score and/or skate. These guys are making mils of dollars more than they're worth on the ice, regardless of they make the playoffs. And of course, the ultimate responsibility for the slides they've been having has to rest on coaching, so after seeing the Wings teeter totter their way through the schedule, Lalonde should have his days numbered in Detroit. I'm shocked he didn't get the boot already. Again, the Wings controlled their own destiny 3-4 week ago and were a show in for at least the 2nd wildcard. Now, they really look ridiculous trying to survive a favorable outcome against teams who weren't even close to having a chance…..

  7. Berggren can’t play in this line up cuz Lalonde doesn’t like his 200 foot game
and he will be on another team next year. But Czarnik can cuz he is responsible defensively right? Cuz he sure as shit doesn’t do anything offensively. Then, he serves up an absolute pizza on a blind backhand pass in his own zone for the first NYR goal tonight. Depressing.

  8. Again, it would be nice if Kane would actually shoot the puck. Absolutely no need to keep the puck as long as he does close to the net to pass it a crowd of players.

  9. i'm sure Derek can explain why Cat isn't out there w Kane and Larkin on the power play or w 6 attackers at the end and Perron is. i'm sure he can explain why Czarnik is here playing and giving up 2 goals and Berggren isn't up here. i'm sure he can explain why he didn't split the top line from Walman/Ghost despite that d-pair destroying the top line's ability to play all game.

Cat has assists on almost every Kane goal this season. they are very in tune to each other on offense and if Cat is not out there, Kane is usually nothing but a distributor. only Cat sets him up or knows how.

  10. The Lions going 12-5 and then the January the wings had has ruined sports for me. I expect wins now and don’t even want to watch when they’re playing from behind. This team is playing good but the losses like this one just suck. Nashville was brutal, Florida OT loss, when they’re on I just really expect points.
