  1. “Questionable high hit” Hardly. You can see with your own eyes his elbow was so far up it might as well be up in the nosebleed section.

  2. Yea he's a dirty player. Throwing elbows wrecklessly and trying to injure players. That's no good for the league. I agree.

  3. Rempe is good showman! People want to see action, only this one time, when he didn't fight was bullshitt, when he was affraid, and only do like bye bye! I'm from Finland, so my english is not good, but NHL needs more "Rempes", icehockey is for men, not for women. No matter that they play, but play have to be hard, tackling, fightin, BUT NOT tacles to knee, elbow to face, stick in neck or mouth.
Fair hard game, is only, how NHL can survive with : Basketball, Baseball, and American football pressure.

  4. no he's not. he's a liability to his team because you have to have 4th line scoring to win the cup, and he has none of that game.

  5. so tired of watching the rangers figure skating year after year and going nowhere while the opposition steamrollers them in the corners and on the boards . Go Rempe

  6. This guy gave 2 Devil players concussions in his first 10 games. If he was a devil player instead of a Ranger, the Ranger fans would be bitching rightfully so about his dirty head shots and being a pussy for not fighting. Devils have 1 more game against Rangers, hopefully they give Fox a concussion with an elbow to face like Rempe did to Seigenthal. See how Rag fans like it!

  7. I think high hits are much more dangerous than fighting. Because of his height, Rempe does need to make some corrections to where he hits opponents, but as to the fighting, I see nothing wrong with it.

  8. Rempe is like the old fighting style back in the day which keeps hockey exciting to watch, keep it up I love the fighting style.

  9. I think he should back off on the fighting, especially if he can add to that 4th line skill level, young big kid, doesn't look like he knows all the ins and outs of dropping the gloves yet, what I've seen he's hasn't come out on top on most of his fights so far, one good shot buy these bruisers and his career could be cut very short, not worth it, skate away ,but use his body for clean checks and taking up space in the front of the net, sounds like he's a great person from reading about him and some of the comments, good for him, don't let a bully ,bully you into ending your NHL career. Let's go, Rangers.

  10. I miss Michael ferland he was a good player can drop the mitts as well but this is the nhl they want there names to be remembered hockey is a part of fighting injuries. Rempe keep fighting 💪 stay in the nhl stand in front of the net if they dnt want you fighting 💯

  11. Taking the fighting out of hockey is ridiculous. It's a traditional part of the game and makes it more entertaining. I'm not a fan of violence in general, but it's better to let them work it out on the ice than have all that pent up aggression. It's not like they are slicing each other up with their skates or beating each other with their sticks. Let the boys fight FFS. This world is getting too soft.

  12. The kids a fucking legend already, look at the name he made for himself in such a short time. I mean give credit where credit is due, I seriously doubt he gonna continue fighting like this. He came out with a bang and should secure a nice bag$ eventually so all around I got only good things to say for the most part. Bravo Rempe, bravo.

  13. F …Rempe the bigger they are the harder they fall. His opponents just need to keep going for his eyes. If he refuses to settle down. He can learn to accept the long term consequences of his actions!

  14. I am a fan of the style and old time attitude, as a Bruins fan, I think he could have a place.

What concerns me is the amount of punishment he takes in nearly every fight. He dishes hard, no doubt. But he takes a huge amount of damage even in the tilts he wins.

    Longevity becomes really questionable.

  15. enjoy his style. hope the woke doesnt destroy my last sport left worth watching. if this is trouble, go watch womens hockey powder puff league

  16. The best thing to happen to an otherwise BORING NHL which lost its way years ago. Gary Bettman style figure skating is what the NHL is otherwise. I am now a Ranger fan for the first time ever.

  17. My favorite Beukeboom. I love the fighting. As long as not cheap.or dirty. Like Wilson. Keep it fair. Do worry about concussion and worse. Miss Reavo. Hated P.K.s year ending sloofooting, but look where he is. Can't stand him

  18. There’s something about Remke that annoys me. I’m cool with fighting in the sport and certainly the way they police themselves. Enforcers have their place, but I feel like Remke came into the league with the strategy that he was gonna target fighting as much s possible and use that to become an immediate sensation. I much prefer guys who respect the sport and don’t just use it as an excuse to be an MMA fighter.

  19. The kid is big and talented. He needs to be careful not to seriously injure someone. Hopefully the coaches tone down his recklessness. You can be a big physical force on the ice without using your elbows or boarding someone.

  20. To all the people who are saying REMPE is a negative thing for the sport and worried about his health…

He's a grown man who just like all of us, can choose his career choice knowing its risks. Just like a coal miner who's lungs are covered in coal or a massage therapist who gets arthritis in their hands… they all go into their career knowing the risks of the job.

I've played hockey since I was 8. I'm merely a beer league player, but definitely a 6'4" physical presence on any ice I skate on. Every teammate I've ever stepped up for has only earned me more respect and appreciation from them. Pretty sure I speak for every hockey player out there when I say…

Hockey needs REMPE and all the old school style that comes with it!
