Imagine the last 13 years if Pronger hadn’t caught that puck with his face. Or if he’d had a visor on.

Sanheim isn’t horrible, he’s had some dangles even this year. But gone are the days of a clapper from Prongs or Kimmo

I’m just genuinely sad this morning about what’s happened here. The Flyers won back a lot of favor with the city and the fans, and now all of it is totally spoiled. No one will remember anything but about this season but the collapse.

And it’s just another reminder we still have a LONG way to go before we’re even sniffing contention.

I’ve been a fan of this team long enough to know that there’s a decent chance they’ll magically win the next 3 games (including the one against the Rangers somehow) just to keep us all stressed tf out.

  5. This season has been a secret disaster.

Losing Hart to a sexual assault trial, having Gauthier ghost us and refuse to sign, having Risto go down with a mysterious injury with no timetable, over performing just to narrowly miss the playoffs and picking around 15th overall…

There have been enough bright spots throughout the year to mask some of this stuff. But when we don’t make the playoffs… we are all going to look at this season for what it was- a full on shit show. Drysdale is nice, the extra picks from the Walker maneuvers are nice… but we’ve lost a lot more this season. And our young players developing is always just our annual copium.

As we wind down the season, it looks like the boys have run out of gas and we’ll miss the playoffs. Bummer.

I think it’s worth noting the big strides a couple of the young guys have taken, specifically York and Foerster. Unfortunately other circumstances have kinda fucked the projection of this team, he-who-should-not-be-named🖕and Quitter. I will be interesting to see what Briere does this off-season. Will he purge some roster players (TK, Slaughts) for picks/prospects? Will he address the lack of talent/prospect depth at center issue?

  7. So big questions are, will ersson be ready for a starter position next year, and will fedotov be able to adjust to the nhl, and should briere maybe look to get another decent goalie that can come in and play 40 games

Plus how many players are we going to lose between now and next year, I think laughts is a garuntee to be moved during the off season, and how many more will follow?

Will torts get fired next year? I hope not I love torts but it could be am unfortunate reality.

Will we fall to the bottom of the league until michkov comes over, hopefully not but I can see it, and maybe a couple years of michkov are tanked years

How early can we get michkov? I hope as early as possible the kid is nhl ready and I can’t wait till he’s in a flyers jersey
