Just great to both fall from the playoff spot and falling out of the top 10 of the draft so again MIRED IN MEDIOCRITY!!! Give me Craig Berube as the new coach because the only thing Torts does is eventually burn down the players and organization wherever he goes!!! I truly hope they lose out for two-fold reasons. First, this will give them a legit reason to fire Torts as well giving us a better shot at drafting inginla @ #12 or #13!!!

Rebuilding team or not this is a collapse. Just a disappointment.
Ant and Bundy have been spot on since the start on every topic.
Where to begin with this team? This organization? The last decade? They finally got the whole fanbase on board with rebuild last summer and they did the worst thing: They teased the city and Briere into being a playoff team so he couldn’t be a true seller at the deadline, yet we will most likely miss the playoffs and get around the 15th pick in the draft now. We lost Gauthier (the best NCAA player), we lost Hart (our starting goalie), and collapsed while the Head Coach went to battle publicly with the Captain. This wasn’t a rebuilding year, this was a regression year.
Gotta agree with AntSan on this one. I think the grind and lessons learned and seeing how a lot of the young guys performed this year will be invaluable in the long run. Lets not forget its a draft lottery too. Tanking is no promise of a top pick anyway. Hockey karma. Teams that play hard and learn to believe in themselves and fight are btter in the long run. imo

If you don’t agree with everything Russ says you’re a mouth breather… c’mon Russ I’m not even a torts truther. But anyone can see Morgan Frost is not a winning player. You don’t need a different coach to establish that. Frost is an Olli Jokinen type player who puts up points on a bad team but is not someone who succeeds on a contender. He’s not good enough to be a top 2 center on a winning team. He doesn’t play well enough in his on end to be a 3C. You also don’t need top 5 picks to be a contender. Boston, Dallas, and tampa all loaded with high end talent taken outside the top 15. Scout and draft better.

Russ & Bundy are always 100%. Anthony is such a sycophant. He clearly idolizes a man that makes him a hated international laughingstock. Whenever there is criticism of Torts he starts to breathe heavy & shake his leg. Pathetic. Having a coach like Berube or Tocchet would have brought out the same affect from players, yet, we wouldn’t lose one of our top prospects that is going to be a beast, they wouldnt prettily construct their lines out of favoritism, & we wouldn’t lose value on our assets. What do we do w Coots & Johansson now? We literally lost Cutter bc of how he treated Hayes. Dumb to say oh well we didn’t want him anyway. Why bc he is a pro athlete that commands respect? Torts talks a lot for someone that couldn’t even make it to the NHL. He is a petty, jealous man that always over stays his welcome. This team could have won these last few games. They are done w Torts. It started w Brinks national public lashing. Then Coots. These players have played for each other all year. Now they aren’t playing in solitary for each other. Also Anthony spewing Torts bs about Farabee is a crock. He is young & still recovering from neck surgery. He has been misplayed all year so that he wouldn’t succeed. He needs a superstar to elevate his game like all players do. Dumb to consider trading him now. Also dumb to sign a 27yr 32 goal scorer to an 8×8-9mil.
U don't just fall apart against the shit of the nhl. Torts needs to go but there are players on this team that can go also. The offense has scored only 4 goals 4 times the past 20 games. PP has been bad all year but Torts wouldn't fire Thompson. I dont want to hear they shouldn't be here fk that. They shouldn't have lost to all these bad teams and there gonna end the season with 11 str losses. Ant needs to stop defending Torts especially when he wont talk to u which lets be honest is so childish how Torts is acting. Grow up man so he asked a question that bothered u.Flyers also have a serious problem with not making trades for forwards. They have traded away too many assets and players away for Dmen and its still going on. I mean come on already enough
Torts isn't the problem
.. it's the make up of the team. Its the loss of hart, the missing pieces, the failed/average prospects from the previous "unspoken of" 10 year rebuild after 2012, the inability of the vets to carry the team and come up clutch when needed. The list of problems is long. The to top it all off ….why In the name of God was couturier made captain ? A move that makes me question Brierre / Jones.. That was not a Torts move. He is not Torts captain. That decision was made above him and it was the worst decision I've seen made by the flyers in a long while. Couturier was never captain material. He was a key piece in the G/Voracek era. A group that learned how to lose, were almost expected to lose after 2012. He dosent know how to win!!! He has always been injured and has been out of hockey for two years with multiple back surgeries. Then come back and give him the C ? What type of bone head move was that ? That is what happened to this team. Get rid of coots, Atkinson, laughten, Konecny Johnson, Risto, and stall. Get back what you can, let the kids play and develop together. The best vet on this team is Hathaway. Keep him at all costs.

Anymore whenever I go to a sporting event down there, I have a couple of beers at the bar and let the traffic file out and then I drive home. It's so much better doing it that way because by then the traffic has dissipated and you just jump right on 76
