Why Nathan MacKinnon SHOULD NOT be a lock for the Hart #nhl

Nathan MacKinnon is having a great season, but, so is Nikita Kucherov, the Hart Trophy odds should be much closer. MacKinon sits at -300 to take home the NHL MVP award, while bettors can find Kucherov at +500 to walk away with his second Hart Trophy. It’s one of the best NHL Award races we’ve had in quite some time, and oh yeah, we didn’t even mention Conor McDavid. Who’s your best bet to take home the Hart Trophy?

  1. You haven't made a good enough case for Kucherov.
Tampa has Vasilevskiy, Hedman and Point – strength down the middle – and all still good. Who are the comparables at those key positions for McDavid in Edmonton? Connor is the engine who is driving and pulling the Oilers into the playoffs.

  2. I feel like it’s the opposite kocherove is on a kind washer Tampa team so he’s cleaning up the pint and there barley squeezing into playoffs should get the art rose when mcd and Mck are both on more solid teams where it harder to get points

  3. I’m sorry, but if you watch MacKinnon play, you immediately know he is the best. Sorry but Mackinnon all day

  4. Its 51 now. He is also on pace for 100 assists. He also broke the record for assists by a winger in NHL history. He also has over 50 percent of his teams offense production. Yeah, looking at it its not really close.
