Let Jarry start to give Ned a break for the home stretch and it's an away game. Ned would start the remaining 4 games, 3 home 1 away.
Imagine this team for the last 4 games w Guentzel back. Think that makes a difference? Imagine if he returns next season. I know, unlikely, but us fans gotta hope. With or w/out him I'll always love this team. Think Dubas did this intentionally?
To my knowledge, this has been the least predictable team in the nhl this season. For some reason maybe this helps us, maybe it doesnt, can't wait to see how this plays out! Gotta love hockey and as always lets go crosby and the rest of the crew

I think it’s a bit disingenuous to portray the trade as simply Guentz for bunting 1:1. You’re right that that wasn’t the exchange. We traded three months of Guentzel for a year and a half of Bunting, plus the entire careers/ELCs of three prospects. Not to mention a Guentz trade when he’s signed to a large contract would make cap space a bigger concern for any buyers and take some people out of the running. If we can get Jake back this offseason, great – if not, I’m still not comfortable saying this trade was a failure/poorly executed
We needed Detroit to lose Sunday … it’s okay Pens let’s keep this going ! the two most important players on the ice Monday night against the Leafs (other than the entire team to defend in the neutral zone & defensive zone) are NED & BUNTING . they gotta get shit goin’ & Sid & Geno & the rest of the team will run with it .
