In the end, I think it amounted to nothing. Just a dumb play by Tkachuk….but that's Tkachuk for you. I think the puck was close enough for it not to be deemed interference.

At full speed it just looks like a failed hip check, but when you slow it down it does seem like maybe he was throwing that skate a bit. Again that could be because of the horrible hip check he was trying to throw and failed miserably at. I dunno, not a fan this clown so I'm trying to be objective but it's hard with his history.
This rat kicked Mark Shieflie in the calf in the playoffs and got away with it, he nearly severed Mark's achilles tendon. The refs botched the call., meaning they missed it and refused to review it. And he laughed off the accusations. Like Corey Perry did when he kneed Tavares in the head in the playoffs. Oops! These guyys are all the same they hurt guys when they have their backs turned and run from the consequences. Matt and Brady's Dad, Walt was a star witnout being a bully and hurting people to win. This is nothing. He was coming in for the low hip-check and Wotherspoon backed up and he decided to try to keep his check, lost his balance and his skate came up. Stupid play, yup. Avoidable, yup. Penalty, depends on how the refs view it I guess. I’m a Bruins fan and I’m not going to call that a penalty.
Another clear penalty that wasn't called on Tkachuk. Tkachkuk was doing what he always does, trying to hurt someone and the NHL does what it always does, ignoring a dirty play by Tkachuk.

Missed a check and stuck his leg out. He is a dirty player and he does this often. In the playoffs a few years back he missed a check and stuck his leg out to catch Schiefele which successfully ruined Schiefeles knee and took him out of the series.
