I'm a completely biased Leafs fan so Captain Morgan can do no wrong in my book. He took offence to what Grieg did so he went for him and I love him for it. In the interest of fairness I can't criticise Chucky for doing the same thing but honestly, why do they care? I've seen hockey players pull their glove off after a goal, put it on the end of their stick, and pretend to take a selfie. Nobody cared. I'm not criticising anyone for blowing up over how their opponent put a puck into the net (it seems to be important to players so what do I know?) but I don't get why this is the line.
I'm really sick of the Tkachuk brothers. Between this crap and what the other shithead pulled on Saturday with literally boarding someone and then complaining because he got called for it, enough of these twats is enough.
He went waaaaay too hard on him. I do understand if he just yapped, called the guy names, whatever. That demonstration was a tad too far in my opinion. But hey, at least he didn't crosscheck the guy on the face…

maybe it's just the frustrations taking their toll. they had a tough season and being the captain watching your team miss the playoffs is hard, then you have a close game not go your way that ends with a borderline insulting empty netter and there you have it.
Both Tkachuks are kinda punks (I'll soften it with "kinda"). IDK if they feel like they have to live up to daddy's expectations or what, but for the skill they bring, their crap-@$$ attitudes spoil it for me.
30 other franchises would have handled the situation the exact same way if a player puts a puck into a net well after play has ended. Only one team would have shrugged their shoulders and skated off the ice like they didn’t care.
The best part is this happened like a minute or two after the Leafs v Habs game ended, so when the broadcast changed every leaf fan that was watching got to see it right as it happened, lmao.
Can someone explain to me, how is this situation same as the Craigs one? Craig scored with 5 before the end, Nico scored like 4 seconds after the end. Every team would go after him.
I am a Leafs fan and I defend Tkachuk. If you have not played hockey it is difficult to simply explain the seemingly minor nuances to people who have never played. It is something you just do not do in hockey.
