What contract do you guys think Guhle could get at the end of 2024-2025. I think he likes it here and want to stay long term with us. What would be your guess?

I wouldn’t mind seeing a deal around the 5-6.5 mil mark for 6 or 7 years.
Maybe I’m crazy though

They can extend him this summer and my guess is they will try and do it this summer and lock him into a 8 year deal to see if they can keep the aav down. If you get him around 4 million for 8 years thats a excellent building block
JamJam130
Really depends on how he does next year. 1st year was mostly good/great but he missed half of it. This year it’s been kind of a mixed bag, he’s in a tough spot playing the right side with Matheson and his play has been up and down
There’s been a few cheap bridge deals for young D-men
K. Miller, Dobson and Bouchard @ 4M x 2-3
Then there’s M. Samuelsson in BUF who got 4.3M x 7 after ~50 games
Short-term for Guhle looks like 3.5M – 4.5M x 2-3
Long-term around 5.25M – 6.5M x 7-8

Bridge deal 2-3 years
Or maybe if he wants the money an 8x4ish
Otherwise_Cod_3478
Guhle play 20-21min and produced at a 25-35pts pace.
Here some other young Dman before they signed their current contract
Dobson played 21min and produced at a 51pts pace. Signed 3yo at 4M$
Byram played 19-22min and produced at a 45pts pace. Signed 2yo at 3.85M$
Miller played 20-22min and produced at a 45pts pace. Signed 2yo at 3.8M$
Fehervary played 20min and produced at a 20pts pace. Signed 3yo at 2.7M$
Drysdale played 20min and produced at a 32pts pace. Signed 3yo at 2.3M$
Romanov played 20min and produced at a 15pts place. Signed 3yo at 2.5M$
York played 19-20min and produced at a 30pts pace. Signed 2yo at 1.6M$

Anderson played 21-22min and produced at a 22pts pace. Signed 8yo at 4.1M$
Samuelsson played 22min and produced at a 15pts pace. Signed 7yo at 4.2M$
So unless Guhle explode next season we can guess a 2-3yo contract for 2.5-3.5M$
Or a 7-8yo contract for 5-6M$

Probably in the 4-5 million range. He has potential, but he’s not elite.
Number of years, I don’t know. It’s hard to tell how management actually evaluates him. If they think he can grow to become a top d in the league, they’ll want long term so he can outvalue his contract. If they think he won’t grow that much, then there’s no point in giving him a really long contract.
That’s hard to tell from the outside.

He will have a bridge contract for sure. You cant give a 7mil + long term and he wont accept lower. He play top lines everyday. He need a bridge to proove he’s worth 7mil+. Pretty sure its gonna be a 2 years 4mil-5mil contract. Long term extension 5mil+ depending of where he’s at.

Tough to go long term with the uncertainty of a lot of our D prospects right now. If you throw top pairing money at him and he ends up behind Reinbacher and Hutson in two years then that’s not a good place to be in. He’s also had a lot of injuries for a guy his age.
CartiNYeezy8
Give him a 5.5 x 8
Sugarstache
I’d guess he gets a 2-3 year bridge deal around 3 mill or something.
BayStreetGuy
8 years at 2m the first 6 years the team option the last 2 years at 2.2m
ATNfromMTL
If you go long term, the convo starts at 7, and you’ll have to convince him not to take more than Suzuki.
lyme6483
Look what Cole accomplished and he signed for $7.8M. It’s wild to me seeing anyone suggest $6M or more with that Guhle has shown.
Bridge is best anyways around $3. Is he really worth much more than Dach got? Not to me
