  1. I remember I wanted them to select Markstro in the draft years ago at the 30th spot nope they selected Thomas Mccolum. florida took markstrom next at 31st lol

  2. the Wings need to Move Husso and run Lyon/Cossa next season, or if you go after a #1 starter then you move Lyon and Husso and get a vet Starter to run with Cossa

  3. Markstrom is a good goalie, but you said it yourself. "He's due for a bad season". Murphy's Law says we acquire him, and he'll have that bad season. So, hard pass on the old goalie. I think Husso turns it around next season.

  4. i see sebastian cosa as the backup next year in detroit to start the season. Husso/Luon to start the season as # 1. stevie has Cosa and trey Augistine (michigan state) as goaltenders . wings have spent too much draft capital on goalies the last few drafts to spend draft capital on another goalie.more immediate need is right hand shot D man.

  5. Wings need a true #1 goalie next year, AND improvement on their D. Cossa should be a 1C, or see limited back-up. But they need someone like Ulmark from Boston, not a retread from Calgary.

  6. Mortgaging even more assets on a team that isn’t a near-future playoff contender for yet another aging goaltender doesn’t math…

This team isn’t bad enough to get better at the moment.

  7. Jake Allen is not NJ’s 1A. He’s def our 1B. Plus, we got rid of Vanecek’s contract and Kappo is a free agent this off-season. Guess who’s the 1st goalie NJ is going to call this summer?

  8. Honestly I don’t see this trade happening. I think just moving husso will be hard. Also Detroit has cossa they could bring up on the cheap. People would be concerned about cossa but will he be worse then .892 bringing cossa up allows that money to spent on def

  9. If there's anything I've learned about Stevie Y, it's that if you've thought of it so has he. He already knows what he's gonna do and it isn't what we think it's gonna be.
