  3. what a character win!
nucks showed to the potential first round matchup
vegas golden knights that they are no pushovers

  4. Now that was a better performance by petterson. At least he shot the puck. At least he tried. He needs to shoot more. That's what we want to see by EP.
Too the swedish commenter on here. Tell your cousin EP that was way better. Keep doing that. Keep shooting the puck.

  6. On that second goal the Canucks were as comfortable in front of that net, as two single mom's at the tim horton's.

  7. Vancouver's first time win against VGK ever in regular time. Cancucks are fun to watch sometimes but they won't make it far. We all know vegas will have a better roster in playoffs and they'll start crushing teams. Western conference is not as exciting becuase the same teams generally go to playoffs in WC and the one that don't regulary go there and finally make it to playoffs just get crushed at least in the last few playoffs. WC champions will be Vegas, Colorado, or Dallas. EC will be way more interesting and unpredictable.

  8. May not be recorded as assists, but Pettersson blocking the goalie's view assisted on the first 3 goals.

  9. Such a fun game to watch in person and cheering on garland in person was really fun

  10. Looking like the sleeping giant that is the Canucks' offense is finally waking up, just in time too!

Arturs Selovs had a rough start on that first goal, but showed poise in bouncing back and making some big saves after that to buy the boys in front some time to make the comeback, and locked it down to protect that lead once gained. He's looking NHL ready at least in the short term. Whether or not he'd be able to keep it up for a full season or step up to take No 1 role in the event Demko should go down again is yet to be seen, but this is very promising for a year or 2 down the road at the very least.

And Connor Garland, living up to his name and decorating the Vegas net with more pucks. Gotta love it!

  11. Hopefully Demko can get in a run of games before the playoffs. The early part of the game tonight and the last game had me re-living the Spencer Martin/Colin Delia duo of last season.

  12. Petey : 6 goals in his last 29 games and getting $92 million.
Maybe 30 is the charm ?….. or will he go 6 in his last 34 to finish the year ?

  13. What a special game! We needed this win 🔥
Garland, Hughes and Miller especially had a great game

  14. happy VAN won this one.. VEG's first goal was on such a soft penalty call, no fking way that was legit haha..

  15. Can anyone tell me who number 7was covering on the second goal he had no one near him in front Eichel was 20feet away and no one near him .is that was Myers everyone should be trying to run him out of town. .but it don't matter what number 7 or cole do there is never accountability

  16. So, the new top line is MIller, Joshua and Garland? Works for me.

I can’t remember seeing a guy Garland’s size being so good at finding rebounds around the crease when there is so much traffic. I guess this is a new wrinkle when NHL d-men are so big now. A speedy little guy can get into holes faster if he dares.
It’s kind of like playing matador while surrounded by bulls but he is pulling it off.
