  1. Despite Silovs playing well, I think the Canucks should still stick with Desmith behind Demko in the playoffs. He has more experience in the nhl, and before this little spell of losses, he was playing really well whenever he stepped in for Demko. I think heā€™s been overworked since Demko got injured

  2. This felt way more like a first half game. It was the right decision to put silovs on the ice and hopefully they will keep him on until demko is back. Great defensive plays and they did a good job keeping the puck in the o zone. A breath of fresh air for the team and fans.. lets hope they carry the effort into the playoffs

  3. That penalty on Dorofeyev, which was absolute horseshit, got Vancouver back in it. The game was never the same after that. Seemed like home cooking to me.

  4. At the game tonight ā€” the teamā€™s energy seems to be coming back. I hope Garlandā€™s incredibly infectious energy can help be a spark for othersā€¦

  5. Canucks Sure Brought Lots of Discipline To The Ice Surface. Now Lets See them Do That When They Head to and For
The Playoffs Even Though They Have Clinched a Playoff Berth Now Lets All Get Behind Them And Now Lets All Do
Become Canucks To Let Them Know As Their Fans And As Our Team Now Lets All Get Behind Them And Lets Now
See That They,ve Got Playoff Discipline Mode. Go Canucks Go.

  6. i think petey needs to be put back on the right side on the power play so he can score from the spot on the face off circle miller just cant do it as well how many times did we see him score from a slapper from there early in the season

  7. Loyal Canuck fans tonight were rewarded with a special evening. Butt Hurt fans and Bandwagoners go through the motions as if they were always there.šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚

  8. Why is the Canucks going with Silovs? I would have thought that they would have used this time to play DeSmith more. Could it be that Tocchet has lost confidence in DeSmith?

  9. Canucks proving again why they sit with the cream of the crop in the league. I pity those weak Canuck fans that spend most of the season dying šŸ˜šŸ¤£

  10. Vegas has shown no lead is safe. Unfortunately, too soft and very little chemistry do to all the changes. They don't have the advantage of the number one seed to gain some chemistry during the playoffs.. They will be a quick first round elimination no matter who they play. Interesting off-season upcoming. BTY, Shannon Vegas has been a horrible 3rd period team this year. Don't get too excited over beating a marginal playoff team. This team blew a 3 goal lead to lose by 4 at Arizona.

  11. What a treat for Canuck loyalists. We carry the weak doomsdayers in times like these.

  12. Pathetic effort from Vegas… that was our response to the embarrassment at the hands of the yotes. I'm not impressed vegas will be an easy out if they don't pull their heads out of their asses.

  13. When you said "Silovs," I was hearing "Shelob's." That gives me an idea for what Silovs could have on his mask. He could even refer to the crease as "Silovs Lair."

  14. Good for you and your Canucks, Shannon..nice to get the win ..itā€™s a complement to what has been a fine regular season. You rightly noted awhile back that it can be a challenge to have a breakout season leading the division and the league at times..then the need to take stock of things heading into a postseason. šŸ„…šŸ’šŸ›£ļøāœ…

  15. Hello Puckheads!
Great to see the Canucks play well and a matchup with the Preds would be fun.
Many of us including me went 2-0 šŸ˜Š
    Overall, I sit at 681-480-77 (58.12%)

  16. You had it right. It is indeed pronounced Shilovs, Latvian spelling Å ilovs (that little tick above S makes it soft).

  17. She loves (Silovs) would be the closest as a Latvian I could think of for the best pronunciation, so it would also translate to English , but anyway happy that 2 Latvians are part of the Nucks
