Had this ready to go and then waited

    And waited

    And waited

The points are obviously great, but he does so much more for the Canucks. Hits, face offs, physicality, and even drops the gloves. If it weren’t for Hughes, he’d easily have a case for Captaincy,

  3. Always was a statistical annoyance he finished with 99 in 2022. Would’ve put him in select company with Bure as the only Canuck with 2 100 point seasons.

    Anyway, much congrats to JT!

WHEN I SAY JIMOTHY, YOU SAY TIMOTHY. JIMOTHY…

That’s crazy. Honestly, I didn’t think he’d crack 100 points the rest of his contract once he signed it. But boy has he proven me wrong. He may not be the most talented (I think that goes to Hughes and Petey), but he’s the heart and soul of the team without a doubt, and he’s damned talented and skilled as well. Who’s that other player that’s like in their late thirties but he’s still producing? Ugh, forgot his name. JT reminds me of that player. I can see him still producing relatively well even at the end of his contract – probably not at a 100 point clip, but 50-60 points? I can see it. He’s got so much heart. If we go far this playoffs, he’s going to be one of the biggest reasons for why.

  6. Way to go JT. Was sad when he just barely missed the mark a couple seasons ago so it’s good to see him come back and get it this year.

thank goodness he’s a Canuck ! Contract negotiations were so tense. He and Hughes are the heart of this team…

Looking forward to see him in post season games. He’s the type of player you want on your team. He is gonna me a major pain in the ass for the opposition

Points aside, he also directs traffic so well.

I wonder if Tampa regrets keeping Brayden Point over Miller. He’s currently the cheapest 100 point club player in the league. $8 million per year looks like an absolute home run bargain right now.
