One of these days Josh Morrissey will win it. I think he'll turn a lot of heads come playoffs.
It will come down to him or Makar.
Yes
Hughes is not just first in points for defensemen and has been all season long…..
Hughes also has the 4th best +/- in the league, including all forwards……
Hughes also took on the captaincy this year….. and the Canucks are better than the Avs now…..
and what a personal improvement Hughes on last year….. Makar had another average regular normal season for himself.
Nope
It obviously should be Josi!
He should be. But, he gets penalized for being a Canucks.
Josi
Of course he is better than Makar
If Hughes doesn’t win it this year then it’s a popularity game because if you haven’t watched a Canucks game this year people pay to watch him. He’s the most exciting player on the ice
Also if the Canucks do not have Hughes in the lineup Vancouver wouldn’t even make the playoffs. Almost every goal they score is the result of his break out or blue line foot work. He is the most valuable defensemen for his team for sure.
Tbh the mind set of the whole team individual awards aren't a concern and all tbis talk is jist redundant distracting
Finally we have a hall of fame D MAN 😅😅😅😅😅
Hughes also has 2 game winning goals this season so far and Makar has 0.
