A good first half is worthless if you fall apart down the stretch. Definitely wasn't his fault they lost but he didn't make the most of his opportunity.
Only "shot" that beat him was petry's perfect one on the penalty shot. Even on the slo mo replay i couldn't see daylight but it squeaked through. Other goals were scrambles, cross ice tip in and Reiley's skate, no chance on any of them.
you cant hang this one on him. there were 2, potentially 3, that he had zero chance on due to the complete lunacy happening in front of him. I think he made the best of a really poor performance defensively in the third. If you told me they would have 5 of a potential 6 points to start the year we all would be cheering. Let's do that, put your pitchforks away people.
