Chris Johnston just outlining the Leafs GMs mistakes as if they were positives…they absolutely should have traded JVR and Bozak and should not have traded for Boyle or Plekanec. If they did those things and did whatever they could to get Pietrangelo (including trading Marner or Nylander if they needed to) they likely would have a cup by now.
Bottom pairing / #7 defensemen are a hot commodity for rosters specifically playoff teams. 3 years of knowing who that guy is. Is good for them
When Chris said that everyone has to look at the organization in Buffalo , that should start with the owner .
I can see a total tear down one year for a chance at a #1 draft pick , but then flipping some draft picks for top end players or using your cap savings for UFA's the following year .
Fedotov had such an off season in KHL. Flyers better not expect him to save the season… Year out of hockey effected him a lot
