Florida got goals from Matthew Tkachuk and Sasha Barkov in the loss; Sergei Bobrovsky made 26 saves.
The Panthers play all four of their final games of the regular season at home starting with the Senators on Tuesday.
Bobrovsky will start; Oliver Ekman-Larsson is getting the night off.
