Russ being Russ… Says Torts takes the credit when things are going well. Well not really it's you jack asses in the media that's heaping praise on him and calling him a Jack Adam's Award candidate when they were comfortably in the playoff position. I never heard Torts say I'm the reason the team is going well. Wasn't it him that said "This team has BALLs". He never said he's the one that gave this team BALLs. So stop the "he's not taking accountability" bullshit, deep inside he's hurting just as bad as the players. At the end of the day Torts is not the one that is not finishing the scoring chances, turning over pucks and being out of position. It's on the players since we all know that his system when played the right way WINs. It's more about finding and developing the players that can play his system.
We all have recency bias, if the team went on a 10 game losing streak in December but fought their way back to where they are now in the standings, we will be feeling so much better. The end result may be the same but it's very different when the bad shit happens like now.

My thought at this point, looks like a team that wants to be able to enjoy their off-season by not getting injured in this last stretch. Disappointing
