Like I’ve said before we need to shake this roster up even if it’s fan favorites we need a new direction. This has been too long of a rebuild plus too much years of the “future is bright” bs. Team is too soft too predictable too finesse. We need a bruiser that can contribute to the play not only by fighting but by driving the play.
if y’all wanna know how crazy of a fan I am: I literally jumped for joy in a fairly crowded McDonald’s when I saw Akira got called up. My delusional hope is that since we’re not making the playoffs they just have Akira start in these last 3 games kind of for the hell of it (no pun intended) but also because it would also give him a chance to get some low-pressure reps in while facing NHL-level shots, which is practically the best of both worlds for Schmido. Good practice but the Devils can afford those losses since we’re out. Thoughts?

The Go Leafs Go chants in the Rock had me feeling like I was in Toronto, very frustrating.
I stopped watching that game when I saw the Leafs scratched Reaves. Wanted to see MacDermid fight him but the Leafs ruined it by scratching Reaves.
Guys, safe to say I'm REALLY worried now. Our playoff chances have dropped from 0.3% to 0.0%. Hopefully the boys can pull it together and fight through the next game to get us back in it

Only got to watch until a little after the Mercer goal. Nico has been solid all year and it’s good to see Mercer getting it going recently. Would like to see some guys finish strong to get the confidence somewhat up going into the offseason.

I loved when they showed the skybox with Brodeur, Fitzgerald and assistant GM, VP Dan MacKinnon. What got me, was Fitzgerald’s face – gazing upon the dumpster fire that he created, and maintained. It was mistake, after mistake after mistake. The icing on the cake, was the “hoping, and praying” comment that he made. Yes, I’m still pissed about how everything played out, and i’m getting MORE pissed as the season winds down. We’ll never know what might have been.

Finally mathematically eliminated. Polar opposite of last season. Remember when we were good in the 3rd and would make comebacks last season? Or how good they were in OT? I can go on and on. What a failure by upper management. So sad.

It’s still too early to book anything, but, if you are really planning on going, you should sign up to the official website to get the updates on the games and what’s going on with the planning. Eventually, you’ll have to sign up for the ticket lottery if they are doing it like the Paris Games this year. I got in for the Paris games but couldn’t get all the tickets I wanted so I decided to not go. I will definitely be going to Italy though in 2026. It is going to be the most amazing time ever. I can wait. Milano is awesome and having the Olympics in town will just make it even better. If you need any help with information about traveling to Italy let me know. I can help you out.

Welp. I guess when this season ends a positive stance could be to look at like as long as there's a general progression from 2, 3, 4 years ago from when we sucked then we are in the right direction. Of course we need some sort of a retool though, a coach and a goalie. Also on a totally different note, and I'm not picking your battles for you, but check out Steve Dangle's LFR (where it's just him) post game of this game you can see they really never bash the Devils and low key hate the rangers lol. I'm just saying like there's other podcasts to hate where they actually are pieces of shit a lot of the time like "rangers central" where he called us their food lol
