Fun fact. No player has ever ended their season with 67 goals. Unless Matthews gets injured it’s not happening this year either. He is definitely scoring 2 more goals in the next few games. Minimum.

It would be cool if Mathews scored 72 goals, that would be the 4th best season of all time, Ovechkin’s 65 is considered the second best season of all time, based era adjustments. Speaking of Ovechkin, he just recorded his 18th 30 goal season, an NHL record.
