Kuzmenko has quite the streak going in the last 6 games. And the powerplay is on a scorcher. Could next season give us the 39 goal, 70+ point player he was with the Canucks last year?

Maybe Kuzmenko gets revitalized on this team next year, the way Sharongovich was this year. Kudos to Conroy and the Flames’ scouting team for being able to search the league’s bargain bins for pickups like this.

Moneyball. I think kuzy will contribute and be a key member of the rebuild/retool one way or another.

It’s kinda funny how the sentiment changed about Kuz. When we first acquired and the subsequent games this sub was pumped. Hit a cold streak and he is expendable. Hot streak again everyone is pumped.

Personally I’ve always liked the player. And shit, that personality must be great in the locker room

  4. Like the dude and I’m hopeful, but I’m always a skeptic when hot streaks come in garbage games

I’d be happy if he has 20 goals, 30 assists next year and has a plus rating

He has a knack for creating dangerous scoring opportunities and he plays in space not a lot of our other forwards like to go to (net front). I hope he scores 40 – because his smile’s electric and you can tell he loves playing hockey!!!

  7. He’s known to be streaky. Assuming he does this set of scoring every 6 games, 5G, 6A, but following a 6 game slump, he’d end up with roughly 70 points, 32G, 38A. So maybe. But every season is different.

  8. It’s different scoring like this when the pressure is completely off and scoring when it actually matters. We won’t know until he proves he can do it with us in more important games

  9. The goal is for him to produce next year so he can get traded for more assets. He already wore out his welcome in Vancouver in record time so we have to sell high as soon as possible.

He needs to chill the f out so we can keep him on better discount

Word is on 960 that he was dealing with back problems and then also sickness. Now he’s feeling good and it shows.

  12. I think they’re planning to let Mang go after his contract ends and re-sign Kuzmenko.
They don’t need both and Mangipane is on a downward trend.

Lindholm has 9 points over 22 games with the Canucks.
