  1. The third goal for me was amazing. He picks up the puck at his own blue line, and there's a guy back. But he blows by him almost immediately. Haven't watch many Avs games this year, but glad I saw this one.

  2. Denver sports fans are some of the whiniest babies I've ever encountered. It's a shame this team is wasted on that hellscape of a city.

  3. What do you mean Denver has BECOME a great hockey town? Like in recently? Denver has ALWAYS been a sports town. Just look at the Rockies…they suck something awful and still pull in 30K per game. We Denver-ites love all of our teams. Always have, always will.

  4. Do you breathe thru your ears? How the hell do you talk that fast, and keep talking?
Might be time to try decaf?

  5. After this latest Broncos debacle, the avalanche and nuggets are really giving them a run for their money. It may not be Broncos town for much longer if they are this terrible.

  6. Screw the Broncos. When i moved here 11 years ago, it drove me nuts how all the sports talk radio would cover was the guys in the ugly orange 85% of the time. I'm thoroughly enjoying the Broncos suffering while the Avs and Nuggets thrive.

  7. Even as an Avs fan (i hate the broncos), I'll admit Kucherov is a bigger offensive threat. The question is whether or not he's a better overall player?

  8. Maybe the only player at the moment who can lift the fans out of their seats as much as McDavid, both such speed demons and great leaders as well. Kind of a shame they both can’t win. I’m kinda pulling for Connor this year, if only because Nate has already lifted the Cup. So much parody in the NHL now too !…

  9. I stopped checking if the games are blacked out, I'm tired of the heartbreak. I think the avs have just become a luxury unfortunately.

  10. I work at Ball arena,& it's unbelievable to be able to watch the Avs,& Nuggets on a nightly basis. Not just each win a title-last 2yrs…but both could do it again this year. And we SHOULD have the MVP in both sports.Jokic is basically a lock to win his 3rd in 4yrs,& while I dont think McKinnon is any kind of lock-hes got a good chance after finishing 2nd twice,(once I had no issue with when Draisitile beat him out-but he got hosed when Taylor Hall edged him by 1 vote.)-& 3rd at least once.

I tell fans,& coworkers not to take this for granted though-to have both these teams at the same time…maybe both MVPs,& world class players like Makar,Rantanen,& J Murray, etc. Avs have the best home record in the NHL,& I believe the Nuggets still the best in the west-or close to it. And both teams have ALREADY won a title. We might never see this again in ANY CITY…let alone Denver. But as penance for how lucky we are-I figure we gotta stomach the Rockies,& Broncos. But just as fans-I don't work for those teams-lol. But time to go back to work-Nuggets vs TWolves tonight might decide the West #1 seed.

  11. Colorado, and Denver specifically, have horrible fans. I grew up there, and love my avalanche. I can tell you that it seemed like everybody was on board with Hockey in the big picture, all during those early glory years. But then, once the Avs became cellar dwellers in the 2010 era, Colorado fans showed their true colors. The same thing happens with the Rockies and Broncos each time…Colorado has the most fair weather fans in sports.
