  1. Sid's acknowledgement of Shesterkins ploy to "fire himself up" or "get into the game ", is world class. Perfect explanation, he reads the game and the emotions of the game. Incredible hockey mind.

  2. None this guy could match in Wayne Gretzky era.
It was alot more physical, clutch & grab to slow down a player. There was a center line "2 line pass".
    All this players would intimidated….

  3. Lets be real, his points in the lowest scoring era ever are way more impressive than gretzky's in the 80s. (Yes I mean the 2010-16 era)

  4. People tend to identify greatness by comparison to others. Crosby, like many others has proven greatness on his own terms since his first game in the league. And he still has a lot in the tank.

  5. Anyone saying Crosby is "top 5" all time, is a moron. Top 5 All time, are as Follows : Gretzky, Jagr, Howe, Messier, Ovechkin.

  6. He is such a great person, teammate, and ambassador for the sport and still the best 200 feet player in the world.
He deserves every accolade and record he ties or breaks.
    Congratulations Sidney Crosby.

  7. He tied Gretzky's record of "a point per game" record in consecutive seasons, however no else, not even Gretzky, has averaged "more than a point per game". Sad that the NHL doesn't emphasize this. Crosby's record, no one elses.

  8. Probably has made it into the top 5 all-time by now. That's rarified territory. Hopefully he can stay at this level for Team Canada.

  9. I think the question from the journalist about who to respond first is a perfect example of how to approach an athlete and ask him about that kind of question. Great job!

  10. Not a Pitts fan , actually quite the opposite, NYR fan , but always respected Crosby’s humility and has a hockey fan , appreciate what guys with his skill brings to the game
