Connor McDavid Injured?! Oilers News Update

Hello #oilers fans, in today’s video I try not to panic while discussing the recent news that Connor McDavid has a lower-body injury and is day-to-day according to head coach Kris Knoblauch. Let’s hope this is nothing serious as losing McDavid for any stretch of time would be disastrous for the teams’ playoff hopes. With the McDavid injury the Oilers have called up forward Dylan Holloway who looks like he will slot back into the lineup against the Vegas Golden Knights tomorrow night!

  1. I hope they don’t play him tomorrow even if he can. It’s more important he’s rested and healthy for the playoffs

  2. I'm sure Drai carried the team when Connor got injured that one time.. .He needs to do that again.. Nuge Kane and Henrique need to step up!

  3. I rather McDavid be rested for the rest of the season and return healthy for the playoffs.

  4. I am pumped to see Holloway and McLeod zip around the ice. They're ridiculously fast, and with perry alongside them I have no doubt they'll get some good chances.

  5. This is news to me as an oilers fan and McDavid fan as I didn’t see him in pain against the flames. This is not good news as McDavid is gunning for Art Ross and 100 points. I hope he gets back soon. Other wise the team is doomed. Uggh. 😡😫

  6. Heard it’s something related to the lower leg or knee. Some are saying we may not see him until next week. Oilers can forget 1st in the division, just hold on to second. We need Connor ready to go once the playoffs start. A rest might help get him even more focused.

  7. That was why there was a gust of wind from the west today that hit Edmonton when the news broke , Canucks fans breathed a sigh of relief wishing and hoping Connor won't be back by Saturday . Got a good feeling he won't miss that game for anything ,Canucks fans can hold your breath again in suspense

  8. Vancouver will win the Pacific division. Did you see them last night. …? What a powerhouse they are. I think Vancouver can win the Stanley Cup. Edmonton needs to rest McDavid to give them any chance against Vancouver in the playoffs
