Pens – Red Wings is a game 7 so really who knows.
If Detroit wins I think they’ve got a good chance of making it. They’ve got a much easier schedule on paper playing the habs twice in these last four so I’m still holding out for them.

Incredible that if the Flyers had managed to win just a few games instead of dropping 8 straight they would still be in a divisional spot. Truly the most Flyera way to finish a season.

I think Wings have really shit the bed to end the season. They could easily have been well into the playoff spot but have had a catastrophic fall off the last 15 games

I feel like the Capitals and Penguins choke last minute allowing Detroit to take W2 just barely. The Islanders maintain the 3rd spot in the Met (although disappointing to see the same matchup from last year if the Canes stay where they are). Ultimately though if Detroit doesn’t get W2 it would be the Penguins through Crosby and Malkin. But regardless, any of these teams I feel would only win their first round series in 7 games.
