1. You mention that MacKinnon is helping his teammate (Drouin), you don't think Kucherov elevates his teammates? You are basically making an argument that you don't allow argument against by starting with an assumption. MacKinnon is the reason Drouin is doing well, but no one on the Lightning benefits from playing with Kucherov apparently. His 100 assists apparently didn't help anyone score goals or inflate their point totals. 2. Kucherov doesn't have Rantanen as you state… he also doesn't have Cale Makar, and Vasilevskiy has a .900 save percentage. Hedman's best days are far behind him, or are Avs fans going to argue against Cale Makar being superior Hedman to prop up MacKinnon. 3. Empty net points might be "easier" but if you want to do the "most valuable" argument, an empty net goal/assist at the end of a tight game to seal it is more important than the fourth goal in a 6-1 blowout. Unless you are willing to take a look at the impact each individual point has created and break it down, this is insanely shallow analysis and also implies you think he doesn't even deserve to win the Art Ross, which is a trophy that isn't based on narrative. 4. Kucherov's +/- beats Point's, who is a -14, by 25(twenty-five!). The Lightning as a whole had terrible goaltending (30th in the league, https://twitter.com/JFreshHockey/status/1774463654269796552) this year which drags the whole team's +/- down and his teammate have been terrible. The Avs have had around average goaltending this year but it has been significantly better than the Lightning's.
I don't have a problem with MacKinnon winning the Hart, I believe either one has a strong case, but some of your arguments are coated with dishonesty and a blind hate for Kucherov. Maybe you don't even realize it but the hate you have for him is palpable throughout the whole video and makes you hand wave anything that's in his favor and talk about him like he's a fraud.
The simple truth is that each team's supporters can make a case for any of Kucherov, MacKinnon or McDavid to win. Since of those three MacKinnon is the only one who hasn't won it before I think he'll win it this year and it wouldn't be a pity win. As the race is so close this year I don't think any of the fan bases can really be upset if one of the other two win the Hart this year, if they're honest.
Everyone in the east needs to see this video!!!!!!!!! Remember when the Hart went to that fade away player(Hall). Make it right all you that vote… two 19 game point streaks.. 35 game home streak….

Great video, nice breakdown. Thanks and keep it up!
💯
MacK doesn't care about winning the Hart. He cares about winning. That, in and of itself, makes him a better player the Kucherov
Mackinnon is just flat out on another level. Glad to see Druin getting well deserved recognition in this video as well!
This doesn't change the fact that McDavid is still the best player in the world and McDavid is way faster then Mackinnon
Other players doing great but think its macks year to win. Next year new season

The Avalanche have 3 guys over 70 points, Mackinnon, Rantannen and Makar.
Great arguments for MacK!

If Matthews hits 70 goals he should be considered
He one of the best leaders too. When he gave up an empty net so a team mate could make hes first hat trick. That says volumes.
