Its just frustrating that this team never bottoms out. Always middle of the pack with fake playoff runs. We need high end talent in the draft

Hartnell is starting to look like David Lynch
Torts said earlier this week that 'they were tired, slow on their feet, & just plain worn out' after that stretch of games the media called 'the gauntlet'. So how did he react ? He put out the 4 oldest, slowest, & most tired players in this line-up to get totally embarrassed. Stall, Johnson, Atkinson, & Couts got lit up like Xmas trees, couldn't defend anybody, couldn't win a corner scrum, couldn't fast break anybody, couldn't make a clean pass, but did give the Canadians plenty of turnovers & clear shots. Our 'back-up' rookie goalie who was expected to play & develop in only 18-20 games behind Carter Hart has now started 48 games & it shows. Tippett, TK, Farabee, Foerster, Frost, Laughton, Cates, Lycksell, York, Sanhiem, Drysdale had chances, plenty of them, but their shooting accuracy is terrible. So many 'missed the open net, went high n wide, lost control of the puck, flubbed on the shot, just won't go, turned it over' excuses. And this POWERLESS POWERPLAY is the league's worst. For the 3rd year in a row. I hope this city has seen the last of the 'powerplay specialist guru coach' Rocky Thompson.

The Flyers just aren't talented and good enough yet to be a playoff team as they've rly over achieved much of the season. Once Hart was lost for the season this was inevitable
Most of these loses are to bad teams as well
Oscar Eklind will save the franchise.
At least we know what the team has to do during this rebuild. Not sure if Torts has lost the room. I am a Torts fan, hate to see him and the team in this situation. They worked hard for 85 percent of the year. This is mind boggling.
