Very cool. Wonder if he gets the start ~~tonight~~ tomorrow with Nesterenko sent down.
With Colangelo being assigned to Anaheim I have a feeling this means the game on Friday will not only be Silfverberg’s last home game, but the last game of his career.
Article says the contract begins this season, wonder if they’ll pull him up for a game or two with the ducks.
Does anybody know if, because Colangelo is not an entry level slide candidate; does that mean him getting in any NHL OR AHL game this season burns and ELC year or not?
This is one of those things we all saw coming, but now that it’s actually happening, it’s a little bittersweet (seeing Silf retire and get replaced with Colangelo).
I definitely think that the PTO he signed was a bit of a try out for both sides. Colangelo looked pretty solid and I’m assuming he liked what he saw as well. Happy to see what he can bring to the table!
